Compared to other business software, business management and accounting systems place much higher demands on computer hardware, operating platforms, and communication protocols. www.isformy.biz wants you to know the exact system requirements necessary to use Sage MAS 500 BEFORE purchasing the software.

Sage MAS 500 requires Windows operating systems with supported service packs installed. Here are the general requirements for your workstation:
Pentium II class or better processor.
Minimum of 128 MB of RAM (256 MB recommended).
SVGA monitor and video drivers (minimum 800 x 600 resolution).
400 MB of available disk space for a local client installation.
A supported version of Microsoft Windows (only English versions and locales are currently tested and supported).
A default print device for each Windows user account (required for Crystal Reports).

Client workstations should be configured with a minimum Pentium III processor that includes 256MB RAM or better. This requirement is above the minimum specification of a PII class or better processor, and a minimum of 128MB RAM. This requirement is based on the fact that most users concurrently operate multiple software packages to complete their daily tasks, along with Sage MAS 500. Also, remember that more memory is required to manage the Windows 2000 and Windows XP operating systems than was required for previous operating systems.

You can install versions of the Web Components that differ from your Office version, but the Microsoft Office version controls your ability to work within the application.
